In the early eighties Mira Road was a water logged marshy land. The development started when the eagle’s eyes of the builders fell on this land. The Mumbai city by then was saturated by then and lack of space for accommodation was a growing concern. Hence a great opportunity for the construction lobby to develop this spot and construct buildings and gradually to go for a new township. All too soon the process started in full swing.
People from Mumbai and new settlers from other places started migrating in large numbers to Mira Road, as the flats were available at an affordable price. Thus the pressing need for an English medium school in Mira Road. Responding to this need and befitting to the motto of our Founder, Fr. Theodosius Florentini OFM Cap. “The need of the time is the will of God” the Holy Cross Sisters decided to make their presence felt in Mira Road.
History stands in testimony as the pioneering team under the captainship of Sr. Johanna Brandstater began the pre-Primary classes in 1990 in two flats in Sheetal Nagar which began to grow into a mighty tree shortly as a full-fledged English medium co-education School (State syllabus).

The Vision of the school is : “Rooted in the compassionate love of God for the transformation of Self and Society”.
